  YOUR ASA EXPERIENCE
You will receive individualized support from ASA’s advisors and staff throughout your program application process, while you are abroad, and when you return.

Before you depart we will work with you and the staff at your home institution to help you prepare for your time abroad by giving you personal access to our Student Success program, which will help you maximize your experience in your host country. You will also receive a detailed pre-departure orientation guide which will help you know what to pack, what to expect when you arrive, and how to stay safe while abroad.

Once you arrive in Dublin you will participate in our onsite orientation with the other ASA students in your group. ASA’s site director will introduce you to your host city and culture through orientation and multiple events during the program. Our intentionally small group sizes allow ASA’s students to get to know one another and are an aspect of our programs for which our alumni consistently express their appreciation. You will have opportunities to meet other students and lots of new people through your classes, social events and optional language partners.

ASA programs include excursions, volunteer opportunities, housing, academic credits, transcripts, mobile phones, airport pick-up on arrival, medical insurance and more! Contact ASA or your advisor to learn about ASA’s Price Guarantee for all of our programs.
 COURSES
Join us in a city that combines a strong historical culture of song, story, friends and family with innovation as it holds a place in time as a European hub for multinational organizations. You will study near the Dublin city center with Irish and international students from over 56 countries at Griffith College Dublin (GCD) which currently has 5,000 students. You can easily walk into town or socialize on campus as the college restaurant serves as a spot to socialize with classmates just about any time of day.

You will live and take courses with local Irish students and international students. Courses are available in a number of subject areas including: Business, Accounting, Finance, Journalism/Media, Hospitality Management, and Computer Science. A full list of classes for this program can be found on the ASA website through the link at the top of this page.
