USA Exchange in Aarhus University

Exchange programs are international university partnerships with which USA has a special, reciprocal relationship. USA students are directly enrolled in the host university and students from the host university attend USA. ALL students participating on exchange programs pay USA tuition at the in-state rate, and will be billed directly through their PAWS account.

Description of Campus:
Aarhus University is a young, modern university established in 1928. Beautifully situated, most of the university's yellow brick buildings are placed in a hilly area with a moraine valley. These attractive friendly surroundings promote inspiration, industry and efficiency - and students who have come here have taken away fond and lasting memories.
 
Description of the Location:
Aarhus is a dynamic city on the Jutland peninsula. From here, beach, harbor and forest are all only a 15-minute bike ride away. The area around Aarhus also offers the biggest concentration of attractions in Denmark. Must-see sights, such as the Jelling Rune Stones, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, are all in easy reach, as well as fjords and beaches to explore.

At Aarhus students don't live on campus and few students live in the city center where prices are very high. You must prepare yourself for commuting to/from campus by bike, bus or train every day. From most dorms it will take you a maximum of 30 minutes.
