Life Science in Costa Rica
Costa Rica is a small country with many national parks and conservation units throughout its territory aimed at protecting its biodiversity. Therefore, you are presented with a unique opportunity to observe and learn biology while immersed in natural settings such as lowland rain forests, cloud forests, dry tropical forests, and coastal habitats. By observing tropical nature and wildlife and associated biological phenomena you will understand their role, and appreciate their importance, in global issues and human activities. Costa Rica is a country with no army and whose citizens claim to be among the happiest in the world.
